Our workshops take place in a cute wood cabin with two friendly expert tutors from the Ruby Rhino team. We provide a fun hands-on experience that caters to all abilities from complete beginners to those wanting to fine tune existing skills.
The classes begin with the basics of choosing paint and other essential tools, before moving onto tips for professional application and a range of different techniques. You'll learn how to layer paints and create authentic aged effects, as well as creative tricks such as dry brushing, cracking and colour washing.
The classes are limited to six people.
The word on our workshops:
"Thank you both for such a fantastic day. What a great way to switch off, I feel all inspired and already have my first commission." Gavin, Cambridge
"I feel so inspired. In addition to the invaluable tips and paint effects, it was great to learn the best products to use. I easily had my money's worth by lunch time!" Ann, Sutton Coldfield
"I thoroughly enjoyed the furniture painting class today. I loved learning the different techniques, so inspirational." Kit, Solihull
"What an amazing workshop!! I encourage anyone who is thinking about it to have a go. I signed up with some trepidation having never done anything like it before but any concerns I might have had were quickly dispelled. Each step was clearly demonstrated before we were invited to have a go ourselves. The small size of the group meant that all our questions were answered easily and we were made to feel really important. The time flew by and I came away full of confidence to attempt the projects I had in mind, and perhaps a few others too. To top it all, the lunch was delicious. Thanks again Hannah and Pete." Sue, Tamworth
