Beautiful bunting
September 20, 2011
I have a bit of a love-hate thing with bunting. I like the idea of it, it's fun and great to add a sense of celebration, but much of which I've seen around is far too twee for my liking. I'm sure you know what I mean - an overload of Cath Kidston or similar and gushings of pink, polka dots and gingham. Just too much girlieness.
So when I spotted the lovely pieces handmade with vintage material by Libby at A Pencil Full of Lead (a super cute online boutique with re-worked furniture and handmade accessories), I was happy to find something a little different that I finally liked.
I prompty purchased the blue and peachy coloured design (top one, below) and am now planning how to hang it to spruce up my office space. I love how Libby selects unusual vintage fabrics and combines them in fun colour schemes, and best of all, her current collection is on sale at £16.
